Cute Christmas Cupcakes To Try At Home

Cute Christmas Cupcakes To Try At Home

By now, I think it’s well established that I love sweet treats and I love cute things. So, it won’t be a surprise to know I love browsing cute Christmas cupcakes on Pinterest.

Lots of people love using baking to get into the Christmas spirit. I imagine my attempts would probably be like something from Nailed It on Netflix, but here are some I’d love to recreate if I had the talent, time or patience! In the meantime, I’m happy to stick to just eating them.

Warning: you’re about to feel hungry.

Reindeer Cupcakes

Not only are these scoring all the points for cuteness, but Curly Wurlys as antlers is a fantastic finishing touch! I’m confident kids would go crazy for these.

Snowglobe Cupcakes

These are the most incredible cupcakes I’ve ever seen. They’re pretty much works of art in my eyes. Oh, bonus points because they’re entirely edible! Gimme, gimme, gimme.

The simplistic style of these makes them so charming! I could maybe even manage to rustle up a batch.

Gingerbread Cupcakes

If you’re going to make gingerbread cupcakes, you have to go all the way and give the frosting the flavour, too, right?

Find out how here.

Melting Snowman Cupcakes

If you plan on baking with little ones this year, these could be a great option to try as they are relatively easy to decorate. Though you may battle with your conscious when it comes to eating them because they’re very cute, I bet they’d taste delicious!

Christmas Tree Cupcakes

Under normal circumstances, I’d have a little whinge about the fact these are not green Christmas trees. However, they are made of chocolate, so that balances things out. Not just any chocolate, either – Hershey’s Kisses and Reese’s peanut butter cups. I’ll take 24.

Though the technique here is relatively simple, it has a big impact! It’s not something I would have thought of, but the M&Ms work so well as Christmas lights.

You are right, I am now feeling very hungry and craving a tasty cupcake! These are absolutely fantastic! My favourite part of a cupcake is the frosting and I could definitely eat the Gingerbread cupcake and Santa Hat cupcake right now. Actually. What am I saying, I could totally eat them all!! M&Ms as fairy lights are very smart indeed and the Snowglobes are fascinating. Thanks for sharing Ruth, yay for Christmas cupcakes!! <3 xx

I feel exactly the same way. Baking is really fun, until it comes to making it look pretty, then I tend to mess it up. x

Ohhhhh, I should not be reading this before lunch, I am now so hungry! My favourites are the melting snowmen cakes and the Christmas lights cakes. They look reasonably straightforward and it’s something Flora would love to help with. I tried some Pinterest inspired crafts recently and learned the hard way that what you see is not how it will end up, haha! Fab post, Ruth, thank you for some festive inspiration 🙂 xx

Love these! I wish I had the time and patience to try some out. The snow globe ones are genius and I think Parker would love to make the reindeer ones! 🙂

Oh I love these! The snowgloves are so inventive and I’d love to try them out, although I’m pretty sure it would go horribly wrong. 😅 Thanks for sharing Ruth.

I’d love to attempt the snowglobes, too, for the very small chance it would go right and I’d be able to brag. But I know, deep down, it would just get messy…
